You know what it's like when you have a scab that's been itching forever, and you FINALLY get to the point where you pull it off? You remember how GOOD that feels? Well, Vashj was that metaphorical scab, and tonight TDC ripped her off with a combination of great joy and relief.
Vashj was one of the most demanding fights in the game; there are lots of things going on and everyone has to do their job. After patch 3.0.2, all raid mobs had their hp's reduced, which made this fight much easier, but the team still had to execute the tactics required to get her through the various stages. Phase 2 has been our challenge, but tonight we pushed through to Phase 3 for the first time, and downed her on that attempt.
Congratulations to everyone in the guild for the work we've done up to this point; we'll be after Kael on Sunday, and expect to adminster a dirt nap for him as well. Raiding is coming to an end in the next few weeks, and once the expansion is released we'll no doubt be full steam ahead in Northrend. Having said that, there's still more to see here in Outland in these next few weeks, and we aim to see them. Keep up the good work folks!
